should be taken of magnetic variation (depends on the
country) In Switzerland: approx: 2 °W (add 2 °)
Important:
The compass-watch is a precision instrument; it should be
used with certain precautions. For example, it should not be
used near devices which create a magnetic field of any
magnitude, such as loud speakers, magnets, computers,
televisions, hi-tension electric cables, appliances.
For optimum accuracy, it
should be kept well away from any metallic mass or source of
magnetism.
Bezel: with a wind rose (360
° graduation) showing the 4 cardinals points and turning
both way
The watch should be held in a
very flat position (the needle should oscillate very
slightly.)
After each period in salty
water, rinse well your compass watch and turn the bezel.
